Presentation:

The Regional Fire Safety School (ERSI) was established in 1964 in Cameroon. It is one of three professional schools of the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA), an international organization that brings together eighteen (18) member states to cooperate in air navigation safety management.

Currently, ERSI's expertise has earned it a leading position in Africa in airport fire safety training, a status recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), helping it to acquire a regional dimension, which it contributes to strengthening through its French-English bilingualism.

It is therefore no longer rare to see states other than those of ASECNA requesting the skills of ERSI, and it is also very common to see private companies express their needs regarding the training of their personnel in fire-fighting and first aid techniques.
