The North-West Region is an administrative region of Cameroon with a surface area of 17300 km2. Administratively, it comprises seven (7) divisions and thirty-four (34) subdivisions.
The capital of the North West Region is Bamenda. The region is bordered to the north by Nigeria, to the east by the Adamaoua Region, to the south by the West Region and to the west by the South-West Region.
Almost every locality in the North-West Region has a multitude of basic, secondary, higher education and vocational training establishments.
The predominant official language of the North-West Region is English.
