The TVEE IL (Technical and Vocational Education Examination Intermediate Level) is a diploma awarded at the end of lower secondary technical education in the English-speaking sub-system. Its equivalent in the French-speaking sub-system is the CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle).

The TVEE IL examination is held every year for students in Form 5.

It is important to remember that the first cycle of secondary education in the English-speaking sub-system lasts five years instead of four in the French-speaking sub-system, while the second cycle in the English-speaking sub-system lasts two years and the second cycle in the French-speaking sub-system lasts three years.
