To all students and members of the public,

Be cautious of individuals and groups claiming to offer result modification services or fake certificates for the GCE exams. These scammers may promise to provide genuine-looking results slips and certificates, but they are fraudulent. The information on these documents is not recorded in the Cameroon GCE Board's system.

If you use these fake documents to apply to schools or companies, they may request confirmation of your results directly from the GCE Board. If your results cannot be verified, you will face legal consequences, including potential imprisonment of 3-5 years.

Protect Yourself:

  • Be wary of anyone offering result modification services or selling fake certificates.
  • Avoid WhatsApp channels and groups that post about modification of results slips and certificates, as they are likely scams.
  • Be aware of scammers who frequently change their numbers to evade detection.
  • Some known scammers include:
    • Papa Johnathan Takum
    • AKONI STEPHEN
    • Devise
    • Mr. Legit

Remember:

  • Genuine results slips and certificates can only be obtained through the Cameroon GCE Board.
  • Any document or service claiming to offer modifications or fake certificates is likely a scam.
  • Verify the authenticity of any document or service with the Cameroon GCE Board to avoid falling victim to these scams.

Stay vigilant and protect your future.
