Brevet de Technicien

In Cameroon, the Brevet de Technicien (BT) is a french-speaking industrial technical secondary school diploma. It is awarded in the final year of secondary school, three years after the CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle).
The Brevet de Technicien is equivalent to the Baccalauréat in terms of length of training and syllabus. However, the BT is not co-signed by the Ministry of Higher Education. In other words, a holder of the Brevet de Technicien cannot enrol in a public university.
