The written examinations for the CEP (Certificat d'Etudes Primaires) and FSLC (First School Leaving Certificate) 2025 are coming soon!
Indeed, the CEP 2025 for the French-speaking subsystem and the FSLC 2025 for the English-speaking subsystem will take place in a few days, as far as the written examinations are concerned, from Tuesday, June 10 to Wednesday, June 11, 2025, throughout Cameroon.
In the homes and schools where candidates sit these exams, final revisions, advice, encouragement, and recommendations are provided to children by parents and teaching staff.
Students, the vast majority of whom are in Class 6 (CM2), will be facing the written examinations for the first time, the examination for which they will obtain their first diploma.
Parents and candidates, without consulting each other, naturally ask themselves a number of questions.
ecolesAuCameroun.com offers answers to some of these questions regarding the smooth running of the exam.
In which room is the student taking the exam and what is their table number?
You must know the candidate's room number and table number before the exam day (before June 10, 2025). No later than Monday, June 9, 2025, the candidate must go to their exam sub-center to check their name on the posted candidate lists.
The candidate's table number is also generally found on the school map.
For one reason or another, parents may accompany their child to check the exam.
What time should I be present at the exam sub-center?
It is preferable that each candidate be present at their writing sub-center before 7:00 a.m., as call-up for candidates often begins promptly at 7:00 a.m.
Regardless of the distance between home and the writing sub-center, candidates must wake up very early and prepare to arrive there before 7:00 a.m., taking into account unforeseen logistical issues (transportation).
What should students bring to write their papers?
The candidate must:
- Bring their school ID card or acceptance slip
- Have at least one blue, black, or purple ballpoint pen, a ruler, a regular pencil, a compass, an eraser, a set square, and a protractor
Does the candidate need to bring the sheets of paper they will write their papers on or use as rough drafts?
No. Exam sheets and rough paper are provided to students on-site, at each exam, in the exam rooms.
What should students wear during the exam?
Candidates regularly enrolled in schools wear their class uniforms.
Wash your clothes thoroughly and iron them to wear on June 10 and 11, 2025.
What advice do you have for students?
Dear students, you are brave and intelligent. You have absorbed your lessons all year. You are up to the challenges that will be presented to you. Stay focused during the exam. Success is just around the corner. You will receive your first diploma in a few weeks!
