BIR Recruitment 2025: Selection Operations Schedule

THE MINISTER DELEGATE AT THE PRESIDENCY IN CHARGE OF DEFENCE HEREBY INFORMS :

Candidates for the special recruitment of 1.800 commandos for the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR), that the lists of those authorised to take part in the selection tests and the programme of the related operations, are posted and can be consulted on the notice board of the Ministry of Defence and at the various Command Posts of the Military Sectors of their regions of origin.

The said operations will begin on 13 July 2025 in the candidates' Regions of origin, following the programme posted in the aforementioned areas.

In addition to identification documents and the receipt upon submission of their applications, each candidate must provide:

a photocopy of the certificate presented ;
a receipt of the payment of 5,000 (five thousand) CFA francs to an Express Union branch, as recruitment participation fee;
a sum of 21,000 (twenty one thousand) CFA francs to be paid only by successful candidates of the preselection tests, as fee for thorough medical checkup (20.000 CFA francs) and fee for authentification of certificates (1,000 CFA francs). /-
